Argentina’s export dynamics in 2023

In 2023, Brazil remained Argentina’s main export destination, with some 11.8 billion worth of exports, 6.17% lower than in 2022.

The US managed to rank 2nd in Argentina’s exports, with some 5.6 billion dollars worth of exports, down almost 16% relative to 2022. China took the 3rd spot, with some 5.17 billion dollars, down from 2022 with almost 2.8 billion dollars (it registered the largest absolute negative change in Argentina’s exports in 2023).

On the positive side, exports towards Uruguay had the largest absolute positive change of roughly 170 million dollars, followed by Switzerland (+104 million dollars) and Peru (+100.5 million dollars)
